Brompton Easy Wheel & Extension Rod Set

If you fold your Brompton regularly, this is the upgrade that makes the biggest difference.

What it does

The stock easy wheels on your Brompton are small and sit close together, which can make your folded bike wobble, tip, or scrape the ground when you're wheeling it around. This extension rod replaces them with a wider, more stable setup — two 60mm alloy wheels on a solid CNC-machined bar. The difference is night and day.

Your folded Brompton rolls smoothly and stays upright, whether you're pulling it through a train station, across a car park, or through the office.

Build quality

The wheels and rod are CNC-machined from aluminium alloy, with a clean anodised finish. The bolts are titanium — lighter and stronger than steel. Available in black, silver, gold, and red.

Which version do you need?

First, pick your Brompton model — this determines the size of the extension rod.

• A/C Line — fits rear triangles measuring 110–116mm (4.3–4.5 in). This covers most A Line and C Line Bromptons. Note: some very early A/C Line models may differ — measure first if your bike is older.
• P/T Line — fits rear triangles measuring 100–105mm (3.9–4.1 in). This covers P Line and T Line Bromptons, as well as the 2025 C Line 12-speed.

How to measure: Fold your bike and measure the distance between the two rear triangle dropout holes where the easy wheels bolt on. Not sure which Brompton you have? Check our Know Your Brompton guide to identify your model, then pick the right version.

What's included in each option

Once you've picked your model, choose what you need:

• Wheels — the complete set. Includes the extension rod, two 60mm alloy easy wheels, titanium bolts, and spacing pads. The two wheels mount on the extension rod — your bike's original easy wheels stay in place. Everything works fine this way, but if you'd like all four wheels to match, you can order an extra pair separately using the Titanium Bolt option below.
• Rack — the extension rod only. Includes the rod, titanium bolts, and spacing pads — but no wheels. Choose this if you already have easy wheels and just need the bar.
• Titanium Bolt — a pair of easy wheels with titanium bolts. No extension rod included. Choose this if you want replacement or matching wheels for your existing setup.

Installation

Straightforward bolt-on installation. The set includes spacing pads to fine-tune the fit for your specific model. We recommend using a small drop of thread-lock (screw glue) on the bolts to prevent them loosening over time.
