Your Brompton's rear frame is tougher than it looks. The paint isn't.

Every fold, every gear shift, every ride — the chain rubs, cables catch, and those small marks accumulate fast. This aluminium alloy set covers the three spots that take the most abuse: the chainstay, the rear fork, and the E-hook area. Laser-etched Union Jack detail, four colour options, 13.5g total.

How it works

The set includes four pieces that fit onto the key contact zones of your Brompton's rear end. The chainstay guard sits flush alongside the chain to stop rub marks on the frame. The rear fork cover protects where the folded wheel and cables make contact. The E-hook protector shields the dropout area from chain slap and general wear. The Union Jack shield badge clips on as a finishing detail.

Fitting is tool-free for most pieces. For extra paint protection, apply a thin strip of clear tape to the frame surface before sliding each piece into place — not required, but a good habit on a bike you care about.

Which colour should I choose?

All four variants are identical in fit and function — only the anodised finish differs. Black is the most discreet and works on any frame colour.
