The M handlebar is great for comfort. Less great for mounting things to it.

This cross brace connects the two sides of your Brompton M handlebar with an aluminium tube in a carbon fibre look finish and colour-matched aluminium clamps. It stiffens the bar, reduces flex, and gives you a central mounting point for a light, GPS computer, or phone holder. Adjustable length, six colours, about 100g.

How it works

The two aluminium clamps grip each side of the M handlebar at 22.2mm diameter — the standard size for Brompton M and H bars. The centre tube connects them and can be extended 30mm, giving an adjustable range from 189mm up to 249mm to fit different handlebar widths and positions. Includes a hex key and 3M adhesive pads for securing accessories to the tube. Installation takes a few minutes with no special tools.

Which length do I need?

Measure the distance between the two sides of your handlebar at the point where you want to mount it. The brace adjusts between 189mm and 249mm, which covers most Brompton M handlebar widths. If you're unsure, send us a message.
